ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH - YOUTH GROUP ACTIVITIES  

All Saints’ Church has an active group of “Younger Saints” who participate in Church School , JAGs [Junior Acolyte’s Guild], Junior and Senior Youth Groups, thus enhancing the life and ministry of our Church.  

Shirley Spiers, with the direction of Ven. Dawn Henderson, coordinates our Sunday Church School program and Family Day Services.   Catherine West coordinates/supervises our JAG participants.

Our Church School runs all year round with special events such as:  Rally Day, Family Services (where the youth participate in the duties of the service, reading, singing, etc.), Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Program Church Picnic and much more!

Joy Gervais and Janine Marson are the youth leaders who, under the direction of Ven. Dawn, help minister to the youth and who organize both Jr. and Sr. Youth Groups and the “YES” programs [see below].  We also have many other adult participants who share in the planning and supervision of all these events.

 Our Youth Group Events “YES” programs include many various, planned activities that vary from year to year!  Such as:

• Community Service:   
• planting flowers for the town’s Main Street (June);
• ongoing support for The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation (collecting food, cooking soup and baking bread for The Table’s food bank and Kitchen);
• sponsoring a luncheon for our senior members of the “Sunshine Club” and more!
• World Service: 
• collecting milk bags from the community to have sleeping mats crocheted for children around the world;
• collecting stamps for World Vision and Campbell soup labels for Camp;
• Lenten Box collection, in support of various children’s needs throughout the world; and much more!
• YES! Program -Youth Esteem Social events: 
• cooking classes - Stirred Up - monthly (for ages 7 – 13),  Stirred Around - weekly (for ages 14 - up);
• Christmas Party, Lunch and Skating Party (in December);
• Maundy Thursday sleepover (Holy Week),
• Family outing (in Spring);
• Outdoor Family Day/Camp (in Summer);
• All Saints’ Eve Party (in October) –
• Movie nights, PJ party, Sport events, and much, much more!
